What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access records.
- Respond to access-control issues, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
- Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, support delivery and shipment access procedures, and report unusual activity in accordance with site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
