Security Officer Visitor Verification

As a Security Officer Visitor Verification in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. This role blends security-related presence with customer service and communication, giving you the chance to work with integrity, reliability, and teamwork while making a real impact each day.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points for people, deliveries, and/or vehicles, help to deter unauthorized access, and document routine activity, incidents, and unusual conditions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas, noting access issues, damaged barriers, and other security-related concerns.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and following post orders for restricted areas, after-hours access, and/or key control.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
