Security Officer Credential Validation Job in Fort Smith, Arkansas

As a Security Officer Credential Validation in Fort Smith, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will use technology to support access procedures, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures.
- Screen and direct contractors, vendors, and delivery drivers to appropriate check-in locations while following established facility access requirements.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Access control/badge experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
