Armed Security Officer - Cleared Job in Fort Worth, Texas

As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol with Active Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and site operations. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report access-control issues in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post orders and emergency protocols.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
