Armed Security Officer - Hotel Job in Fort Worth, Texas

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to travelers, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, airport location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned airport areas, terminals, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials, badges, and authorization for individuals and vehicles entering restricted or controlled areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- This is primarily a driving post.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
