As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a highly visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism while addressing issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the store and its perimeter, including parking areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for employees and customers.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas within the retail location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Engage with store personnel and visitors in a courteous manner while remaining observant for unusual behavior or situations.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and store management as required.
• Assist with emergency response procedures and provide support to law enforcement or emergency responders if needed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area while following all Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines for an armed post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
• Hold an active armed guard card or license and a Level III armed certification if located in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
