As an Armed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage distribution location, you will conduct routine driving patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control with strong customer service and clear communication. This post requires a valid driver’s license that meets AU Driver Policy Requirements and Level III Armed Certification in Texas. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Operate in an armed capacity in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable licensing requirements, and post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, alarms, accidents, and medical situations, and notify appropriate contacts as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of warehouses, loading docks, yard areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and deliveries, verifying identification, logging entries and exits as required, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing truck arrivals and departures, checking seals and paperwork as directed, and reporting irregularities through the chain of command.
• Monitor cameras, intrusion alarms, and other security-related systems when assigned, and escalate unusual activity per site procedures.
• Enforce site rules regarding restricted areas, key control, and prohibited items, addressing issues professionally and requesting assistance when needed.
• Complete detailed written reports on incidents, patrol activities, and observations, including accurate times and actions taken.
• Maintain a visible presence and communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal supervisors, assisting with incident coordination and post coverage as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification Texas Only is required.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
