Security Officer Courier Facility

At a busy logistics and distribution location, our Screeners help support a welcoming, well-organized environment by monitoring entry points, conducting screening activities, and responding to security-related concerns. DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with post orders and site procedures, documenting prohibited items, access concerns, and/or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and completing required reports as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, entry points, screening areas, loading zones, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and/or policy violations while maintaining detailed logs, screening records, and incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
