Security Officer - Distribution Center - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Distribution Center - Full Time in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure environment, while your communication skills foster positive interactions. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Assist with visitor and employee check-in and check-out procedures, maintaining accurate records as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to individuals at the location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through regular observation and presence at access points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter as directed by site-specific procedures.
• Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and orderly environment at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
