Security Officer Entry Screening

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to stay visible, provide strong customer service, and work with a team that values being agile, reliable, and innovative while putting people first and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client guidelines, and report irregularities to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated posts to help support authorized access and document security-related concerns.
- Complete required logs, reports, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding daily activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
