Security Officer - Inspector Job in Fort Worth, Texas

As a Security Officer Security Screening Inspector in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or items in accordance with site procedures. You will remain attentive, communicate professionally, and support smooth operations through reliable customer service and accurate documentation. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
- Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations for unusual activity, and report concerns according to established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
