Security Officer Screening Attendant Job in Fort Worth, Texas

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and support efficient operations through attention to detail and teamwork. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
- Monitor screening equipment, alarms, and entry points; report irregularities, prohibited items, and/or unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
