As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Records in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and use technology to document observations. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report access-control concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
