As an Allied Universal Security Officer specializing in access control, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling areas within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service through clear and professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
• Assist with visitor and vehicle check-in and check-out processes according to site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by offering guidance and information to employees, visitors, and drivers as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Document and report any unusual or suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Follow emergency response procedures and assist in situations such as evacuations or medical needs as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
