Security Officer - Auto Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Auto Facility Unarmed Patrol in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the automotive location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, including the perimeter and areas where vehicles and property are located, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance related to site protocols and security-related matters.
• Document all incidents and relevant activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
