Security Officer Full Time Hospital Access Control Job in Fountain Valley, California

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Access Control in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare setting, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff while providing a professional, reassuring presence. You will monitor access, support security-related protocols, respond to inquiries, and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service at a healthcare facility front desk by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and vendors and providing clear directions and assistance.
- Monitor entry activity, verify visitor credentials and access permissions in accordance with site-specific policies, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
- Support security-related procedures by communicating access concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a respectful healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
