Security Officer Pharmaceutical Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Pharmaceutical Patrol Specialist in Frederick, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Support site operations by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and maintaining a visible presence aligned with Allied Universal standards and post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
