Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Job in Fredericksburg, Virginia

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
