Security Officer Entry Control
As a Security Officer Entry Control in Freeport, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check identification and/or authorization for people, vehicles, and deliveries, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, restricted areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal personnel and site contacts regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
