As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in a chemical or petrochemical environment, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your duties will include monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, and remaining highly visible to help prevent security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $40.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
• Assist with implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures and protocols tailored for chemical and petrochemical environments.
• Provide customer service by responding to questions and assisting employees, contractors, and visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support ongoing site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
