As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. You will work closely with site personnel, visitors, and contractors, ensuring that only authorized individuals gain access to restricted areas. Pay Rate: $40.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access at designated entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Verify identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors according to site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and report any unusual activity.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents and drills to support the security-related needs of the chemical and petrochemical environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
