As a Security Officer - Residential Entry Control in Frisco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a residential community, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and guests, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points to help control entry and/or exit of individuals and vehicles within the residential location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or security-related incidents as observed during assigned shifts.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required, following Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional presence and promote a welcoming environment for all residents and guests at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
