Security Officer - Medical Facility Patrol FT

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Gainesville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help to deter trespassing, theft, and/or policy violations, while reporting concerns according to site procedures.
- Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with directions, visitor screening processes, and/or other security-related duties appropriate to a healthcare location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
