Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine rounds. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to enforce location rules and restricted area protocols, and document security-related incidents according to site procedures.
- Support a professional environment by offering directions and assistance when appropriate, answering routine questions, and maintaining awareness of daily activity across the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
