As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a luxury retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a retail environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or respond to observed concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Support access control processes and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited behavior within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or site needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
