Security Officer Armed Site

As a Security Officer Armed Site in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and restricted area access in accordance with site protocols and applicable post orders.
- Support healthcare operations by assisting with de-escalation, directional assistance, and timely reporting of hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
