- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related policies and/or emergency response activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and other access points at the location, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and office areas.
- Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records, issue and collect badges and credentials as directed, and communicate access-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and report security-related issues involving people, property, and/or operations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, and key interior spaces, while observing for access control concerns and other security-related conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
