Security Officer - Overnights - Secret Clearance Job in Gilbert, Arizona

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring, people-first culture by working collaboratively, acting with integrity, and supporting a reliable, innovative operation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access control points, verify authorization for entry, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
