Security Officer Patrol Monitor

As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Glen Allen, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while contributing to a reliable and innovative culture that puts people first.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the financial services location to help support authorized access and report suspicious behavior and/or conditions.
- Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift communications to help support awareness of daily activities, maintenance issues, and/or security-related events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
