Security Officer Front Desk Coordinator

As a Security Officer Front Desk Coordinator in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting a professional environment through visitor assistance, communication, and front desk monitoring. This stationary role helps promote smooth daily operations while addressing security-related concerns with care and professionalism. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location.
- Monitor lobby and front desk activity, assist with visitor check-in processes, verify access permissions, and direct guests, vendors, and deliveries according to property protocols.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Maintain detailed logs, visitor records, incident reports, and other front desk documentation to support daily operations and security-related awareness.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, monitoring cameras and alarm notifications when assigned, and reporting maintenance concerns or suspicious activity at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
