As a Security Officer Hospital in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
