Security Officer Unarmed Routine Patrol Job in Glendale, Arizona

As a Security Officer Unarmed Routine Patrol in Glendale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Our Security Officers support a welcoming retail and mall environment through routine unarmed patrols, visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members, report concerns, and respond to situations with integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the entertainment venue, common areas, exterior perimeter, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to location procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
