Security Officer Full-Time Access Management Job in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania

As a Security Officer Full Time in Glenshaw, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including educational facilities. As a Front Desk Security Professional, you will be a welcoming presence in a school setting, greeting visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and communicating professionally with students, staff, and guests. You will help support a secure, positive environment through attentive service and timely reporting of security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
- Monitor the front desk area, greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, and follow visitor access and sign-in procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident-related logs in accordance with school district policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Support a welcoming school environment by observing activity at the entrance and reporting unusual or unauthorized access concerns to designated personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
