Security Officer - Aero Dispatch Specialist

As a Security Officer - Aero Dispatch Specialist in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities. Your responsibilities include managing communications, supporting field teams, and helping to deter incidents through prompt response and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and coordinate communications for all incoming and outgoing site traffic, providing clear and accurate information to authorized personnel.
• Assist in managing access control for employees, visitors, and contractors, verifying credentials and maintaining detailed logs as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain awareness of activities within the location, reporting any suspicious or unusual behavior to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Support emergency response activities by coordinating communication between site personnel and emergency responders when necessary.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors, addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills related to security-related procedures, emergency response, and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
