Security Officer Patrol Clearance Eligible Job in Goleta, California

As a Security Officer Patrol Clearance Eligible in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will support security-related operations while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, following visitor management, credentialing, and escort procedures as applicable.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
