As a Security Officer in Grand Prairie, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a utilities location to help create a secure environment for people and property. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your approachable demeanor will provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining visible and attentive to any security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and client expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utilities location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any irregularities.
• Monitor and report activities or incidents that may impact the operation or security-related interests of the site.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address incidents or hazards in the environment.
• Adhere to all company and site-specific procedures while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
