As a Security Officer Access Alarm Patrol in Grand Prairie, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and document daily events, incidents, and/or irregularities in required reports.
- Support site operations by communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or first responders during routine activities and unexpected situations while following post orders and established procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
