Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or operational issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized access for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.
- Observe workplace activity and equipment conditions, communicate policy reminders when appropriate, and complete detailed reports related to incidents, patrol findings, and daily site activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
