What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site procedures, and document security-related observations and activities.
- Support access control, incident documentation, and communication with site contacts and/or first responders during routine operations and unusual events.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
