As a Patrol Armed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the site. This armed and driving position involves monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential threats.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or incidents according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other security-related equipment as required for an armed post.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
