Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure under pressure.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, remaining alert to any unusual activities or potential threats.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of personnel and visitors on site.
• Maintain clear and concise communication with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when required.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activity according to established protocols.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and/or other defensive tools in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Armed Guard Card or license required.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
