Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations Job in Grove City, Ohio

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture with teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facility buildings, loading areas, trailer yards, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving designated areas and following site-specific visitor and driver procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
- Prepare accurate activity, incident, and/or shift reports and promptly report security-related concerns, damaged property, or operational hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
