As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements, as you may move between areas as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disruptions, access concerns, and unauthorized presence.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor and control access at designated entrances, check identification as required, and assist with visitor check-in and direction in accordance with location policies.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and patrol documentation in a timely manner using required systems and formats.
• Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, severe weather response, and lockdown protocols as directed by location procedures and local authorities.
• Provide courteous assistance with wayfinding, de-escalation support, and customer service interactions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Operate security-related equipment as assigned, such as radios, electronic access control devices, and video monitoring systems, and report malfunctions or irregularities.
• Coordinate with on-site staff and responding public services during incidents, and maintain situational awareness across the location while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
