Security Officer Screening Operations Officer
As a Security Officer Screening Operations Officer in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic tech and communications location, you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and deliveries, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Screen individuals and belongings at designated entry points using approved procedures and equipment, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and policy concerns through proper channels.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Document screening activity, visitor interactions, and incident details accurately, and communicate clearly with site contacts, coworkers, and/or local responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
