Security Officer Warehouse Screening Coordinator

As a Security Officer Warehouse Screening Coordinator in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and personnel, and support security-related procedures that help keep operations running smoothly. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and shipments as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy concerns to site contacts.
- Conduct screening of personnel, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures to help support authorized access and security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with work environments and conditions varying by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
