Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and shipping areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and/or drivers, verify entry and exit activity, and report unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Support security-related operations at a busy logistics location by observing site activity, assisting with directions and visitor interactions, and communicating clearly during routine and emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
