As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for members, employees, and visitors while responding professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of branch areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining a professional presence and protecting confidential information.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
