As a Security Officer - South Warehouse Overnight in Henderson, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support orderly operations and reporting policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
- Support badge and access control practices, observe for suspicious behavior around equipment and workspaces, and follow post orders for after-hours coverage, alarms, and/or restricted areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
