Security Officer - Swing Shift Job in Henderson, Kentucky

As a Security Officer Patrol Services in Henderson, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a food and beverage production location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report unusual activity, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the food and beverage production location, warehouse areas, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs of entries, deliveries, and incidents.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
- Observe and report security-related concerns, including unauthorized access, damaged property, unsecured doors, and potential hazards, while maintaining professional communication with site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
