In this role, you will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while building positive connections through clear communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee movement, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
- Support daily operations by assisting with badge checks, directional assistance, and/or policy reminders while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
